Is the confirmation email of receipt application AOR?

I received an email from immigration yesterday. In the email it confirms my application has been received and CIC office is reviewing my PR application. I received this a month after I mailed in my applications. Is this email my AOR or they will send me another email with my AOR? From reading the threads on the forum AOR usually takes about 3-4 months? Does that mean I am not eligible to apply BOWP now?

It is the AOR..
you should have got a file number too..

right now average time for AOR is about 40-42 days
