Hi Everyone,

My father applied for a TRV and ARC, as per the regular process. He was informed that his Visa has been accepted and a TRV was indeed stamped on his passport. However, he didn't receive any document or letter or anything that mentions ARC on it. Is the visa itself considered the ARC or are we missing an ARC document?

Thank you

ARC is not a document. It's a process you have to go through before you can qualify for a TRV if you have ever been deported from Canada or have a failed asylum claim.

Hello Scylla,
But CIC operations manual (OP1 Procedures) explains that ARC is indeed a document titled "IMM 1203B", which the applicant has to present at the port of entry.
Could you please elaborate on that
