Hello,
I want to study Hospitality Management in London, ON.
As far as I understand, studying Hospitality Management will give me the opportunity to work as a skilled worker in Canada(NOC 0631 and 0632).
Is it hard to get a job with a 2 years diploma in that field? Is studying in Ontario a good idea? cause I heard it's hard to immigrate there.

every thing in possible if you are in canada.
first of all you have to get the visa which is bit hard to get.

Why is it hard? if I got accepted to a 2 years program in college I should be able to get a visa easily. right?
And I don't even need a job offer to get the post graduation visa. right? :S
I'm a little confused about the process lol

itsnot easy as you are thinking.
we are also accepted by colg for 2 years diploma.
almost 11 weeks have gone but no response.
time duration is also 11 weeks.
some student are waiting from 4 to 6 months

I'm planning to study only in September of 2013 cause I'm still working in order to save money for tuition.

You should apply no earlier than March 2013 and no later than April 2013 if you really want to get there before September....

But do keep in mind one thing that there should be no study gap ,,, if so then you have to justify that duration by attaching further documents ...!!

Wait a second.. what do you mean no study gap?
I've graduated from high school in 2008 lol that's a pretty huge gap.

My family had money issues so I had to work to support my parents, and now I have to work to save money for tuition+living expenses.
So since I want to study in September of 2013 that will be 5 years after graduation.
But why is that important? Why would they care when I want to study?

If you want to go there for study purpose then you have to prove that you have been a student in your whole career,,, otherwise they may think that you are going there to earn money and might not study.... So that is pretty important ..... But you don't have to get worry at all as you are working with some company....

They also want to check your engagements .... So you just have to prove that your time period after your graduation was not passed idle but you have been engaged in some production .... Attach your experience certificate for the time being spent in your job .... It will work for you .....

For, Indian students... one must ideally apply 3 month before the start of course. So, for Sept. intake... apply by June 1st week.

thanks tiger007 ! what do u think abt my profile, total expense 13k fee+11k others=24k=12.5 lacs, i'm payin 4 lacs cash for first term fee and take 8 lacs student loan from SBP !! so im coverin upto 90% of my expenses after payment of first term fee ! so should i apply under SPP or general !! i'm an MBA and have been workin for 4 years !! goin for PG certificate course at GBC !!!

As far as you talk about your study expenses, it sounds good that you cover 90% of your expenses..... also after paying fee it looks more than solid argument before VO......
