Sir/Maam,

Can an unemployed person apply for the visitor visa?
Is it mandatory to have a tax filing history for applying for a visitor visa? Minimum how many years?
Is the education gap considered for approving of a student and visitor visa?
Can someone with more than 8years of education gap and no work experience go to Canada? If yes. which visa is valid?

Thank You

For a visitor's visa, you will need to provide an employment and education history, and proof of financial capacity to pay for your trip. Not having a job does not mean that you cannot get a visa, but it will mean that unless you have a large amount of money and very solid reasons to return home, you will have a weak profile and not be likely to receive a visa.

For a student visa, education gaps are not fatal to your application, but need to be explained in your statement of purpose.

If you have not been in school for 8 years, and have not ever had a job, your profile is very weak for a student or visitor visa.

To see nature, visit my friend and if possible to settle.
Saying in the visa that you wish to settle here might be a red flag. They will need to see that you can support yourself while you are here and you have strong reasons to return back to India at the end your visit.

How will you pay for your trip?

Also wanting to study after an 8 year gap could also impact your student visa application, you might want to post those details in the students section of this forum.
