Is SOP Required for masters student(univ.) in Online application ?

hello , i am danny from india , i am applying online , i have 2 doubts , please anyone help :
1. Is sop required for appl. for masters programs in online app. coz its not listed but 'letter of explanation' is listed as 'optional' document

2. is GIC and receipt of 1 yr tuition fee is sufficient or any other financial document needed

( i am admitted to univ. of victoria , m.eng. program) please help me with this

Just stick to checklist. Don't attach extra documents. If it is written for letter of explanation, the you can provide one.

i am confused whether to apply online or via vfs....what has been your online experience...and how are we supposed to submit the passport when applying online?

It is optional and if your have nothing to explain then you do not need this.

2. is GIC and receipt of 1 yr tuition fee is sufficient or any other financial document needed

Better if you can bank statement, employment letter, tax certificate, trade license.
