I am applying for visa under SPP category.I have opened a GIC account in Scotiabank. The email-id (gmail-id I have used to open account) and the password is known to my education consultancy. Is it safe to share the email-id and password with the education consultancy? What are the risks involved? Can they have access to the $10000 CAD I am going to wire transfer?

It'll be appreciable if you can please explain me how it is safe(my consultancy has all the information of the scotia bank account).

My man, for real ?

Suppose x who is you friend wants to transfer money in your account. What would you do?
You ill give your
Account name
Account number
Sort code / swift code
Branch name
Etc

What will he able to do? Transfer amount in your account and NOT compromise it

Hey but he knws my account has 10000 dollars in it, so?
So ? I know prime minister of india has 1 billion dollar amount in his bank and I also know his personal account details. But I dont have his Debit card with the card pin details, nor i cant fake him in person . Now unless I am doing a heist like in OCEANS series movie, i dont think its virtually possible.

This is the same info given for your gic.

Also, your account is not activated till you reach canada and meet the bank rep in person.

Man you really to learn how banking works. You allready sound like a North American and thats not in a good way ::)

This explanation you gave cleared all my doubts.I feel so relieved right now.It was a great help. And s I will learn how banking works.

first of all - is your consultant good or just emerged new consultant in this business ? always go for reputable and old consultant,.

Even money in Swiss account is not safe. There are many ways to misuse the information
