Is Seneca College a great school for international students? And what benefits does it entail

bro can u help me to choose college in Toronto..i am planning for September intake
Honestly depends on what course you are looking for.
All the colleges are great but from what I've heard people say, Centennial and George Brown are really good. Personally, I liked them too but I did not feel like they had a lot of variety in the programs offered. If you can find something to pursue (relevant to your previous qualifications) out of the programs that they do offer, I'd suggest you go for it.
Otherwise, Seneca and Humber are great alternatives.

That's a little concerning....I wouldn't want people with fake degrees to be my classmates.
Genuinely confused as to which part of my message made you think of a "fake degree"
I applied to Seneca in October but my convocation was scheduled for December. I submitted all transcripts (9 semesters of my HBA program) that clearly showed I have passed (with a 9 CGPA) and will be receiving a degree. I also gave a written entrance exam.
I think the experienced college administrators and professors know what they are doing.
I also submitted a Provisional Degree Certificate in a couple months.

Not questioning your qualifications, I'm just saying degree verification is an important step of admission. If they are admitting unconditionally without verifying applicants' degrees then it seems like they're just more concerned with filling up class numbers. Usually admission is conditional upon receiving an official copy of the degree.

HR is a people-focused field. It requires excellent communication skills and an understanding of cultural norms. I suspect local candidates will almost always be favored over international students for this field and its not hard to understand why
Yeah that adds up pretty much. Can you please suggest any field that you feel could be favorable? Literally any one else lol

Totally agree on that. But I'm guessing that they just gave me the LOA because I submitted all transcripts.

I'm currently enrolled in Seneca for the Government Relations postgraduate program. I'm really enjoying it. It is a great college and the faculty for my course at least is just amazing. They have good software to keep track of your course progress and also we have guest lectures every other week from very important and experienced people.
But do make sure that you have relevant educational background to apply for HR otherwise you might not get selected for the program and there is a high chance your study permit will be refused. If you're sure about your choice of study, make sure you have a very strong SOP for application to the college as well as for your visa.
Thank you so much for the insight. I actually got my bachelors in Architecture in 2017 and worked two years in a private company as a HR assistant and then as a project manager. Would that suffice?

It should suffice but if you don't clearly state so in your SOP, then there is a high chance of refusal.
Give clear reasons as to why you want to pursue this course, what are your future goals, how this course is in line with them and that you are passionate about it. It is okay to get a little creative but the overall feel should be formal. Also mention why you chose that particular college and why Canada. And mention what job prospects you would have in your home country and how a Canadian education would prepare you for those.
Just make sure you show enough funds, all your documents are in order, you have family ties in the country where you are applying and address all the points I mentioned in your SOP.
Although I can't guarantee that you will get an approval, doing this will definitely help make a strong case in your favor.
