What kind of family ties do we need to show the Visa Office?
is it really important even if you have enough money for your tuition and cost of living there?

No man ,he means we dont have to show letter from parents,that they r willing to finance us,if we r using there bank statement

this link shows a sample of affidavit from sponsor and sheryar is asking about self oath!! I think no need of self oath bus parents ka affidavit kaafi hai but u do mention on sop that u will return after studies.
