It depends upon your over all profile and case. If you only have a single employment experience and weighs heavily upon your current job, it might be important.

Otherwise, in general people do not submit reference letters from the most recent employer.

I have known of at least two friends who did the same (and got visas) as well as myself i.e. submitted offer letter from the current job (about 2 years old), plus latest pay slips of last month before applying as proof of current job. But there were also 2/3 experience letters from past jobs. Full experience profile is about 7+ years.

If you are going the above route i.e. submitting pay stubs too, it might helps to additional submit bank statement showing the same pay actually being transferred to your account in the past to strengthen your case.

Please don't post the same thread multiple times. It is better to respond to same thread if you are trying to remind others.

On second thoughts, my earlier comment was about CURRENT / LAST job where the obvious reason for not having an experience / reference letter is that you are still working there and haven't shared the details of your plan to quit with your employer because you are not certain when / if you would get visa.

If it is a past job, i am surprised why you don't have an experience letter in the first place. I have never seen it written any where explicitly in CIC's requirements, but i am just speculating that it would at the very least appear odd and would raise a question whether you possess experience / skills relevant to the job you are going for.

May be if you have multiple jobs in your over all profile and you are missing one, it might fly, but if it is a single / primary one, i doubt it would fly.
