Is Proof of funds required if we do not have Arranged employment while landing

Hello Seniors. I applied for PR under CEC program from India. I have sent my passports for stamping recently to New Delhi. While im waiting for the passports, i need some information on Proof of funds.

Do you think we need to show Proof of funds while landing if we do not have an Arranged employment. If yes, then how much do we have to show for a family of two (myself and my husband).

You need C$14,853 for two family members. In theory, you will be required to demonstrate that you have those funds available.

You're only excluded if you are already sponsored and working in Canada (with an LMO/LMIA).

No proof of fund requirement for applicants who applied under CEC, but just carry it incase they ask for it.

i guess the link given above applies only for express entry.

for CEC i have friends carry round $4000 per person. i am not sure if thats the requirement. But telling you what my friends have carried when they travelled.
