Is police clearance needed for spouse who is not accompanying me?

Hi All

Do I need to get a police clearance certificate for my spouse who is not accompanying me? I have mentioned I am married but spouse not accompanying me.

Also,CIC says get a police clearance for all family members...just confused does that mean even parents and siblings although they have nothing to do with my application :-X.

Dependents here mean only your spouse and children (if above 18) who should obtain PCC even if they are not accompanying you in your application.

its mandatory to all family members whos age 18 and above to provide a PCC for them weather they are accompanying you or not.
