is police clearance certificate required from your residential and working place both?? i keep visiting my residential place often say about 15 days.
also should i get police varification done now or when the imigration office asks?? what if the PCC is not expired which is submitted alone with the file, are they going to ask a new PCC to check you recent police records?

PCC is required for the COUNTRY of citizenship and the COUNTRY of residence.

So if you're an Indian working in Singapore for 1 year - you would need a PCC from Singapore and PCC from India.

If you have never been outside India you will only need a PCC from India. It could be from the City you've lived for the most part of your life (which is ideal).

What if I have worked in other country for less than a year(say 9 months). Is the PCC required in this case also?

YES.

PCC is required for your country of citizenship and ANY country where you have LIVED for more than 6 Months.

and what about ideal time of PCC?? before submitting or on enquiring from CIO??
Also can anybody withdraw money on requirement after getting bank statement for filling it ??

This is NOT true. PCC is required for any country (except Canada) in which you have lived for more than 6 months since reaching the age of 18.

If you have not lived in your country of citizenship since the age of 18, you would not need to send a certificate for that country.

Can't comment on the Ideal time it takes in India. It depends on your Local Officer.

You can submit it during the application process or later during your Medicals. They must be in original however.

Correct - missed the part "since the age of 18".

Then I guess, I am gonna have hard time. I have lived in Saudi for 9 months on business visa. But for issuing PCC they ask for Work Permit :( .
