Hey all. My question is just as the title suggests. Is the Open work permit only available for inland applications?
On a side note, I'm a little confused about my situation. My wife will receive her new passport December 1st and we plan to send our applications for Sponsorship and PR the following day. We had intended to stay abroad until her PR was approved but my fathers health has been declining and it looks like we could be headed to Canada at the start of February. My wife currently has a TRV valid till mid May 2017. Should she apply for a new TRV when her new passport arrives and we are still abroad, or is fine to apply for an extension while in Canada and the Sponsor/PR applications are being processed? My wife is Chinese, and I'm a Canadian citizen. Thanks for your time.
