Is not having a travel history an issue for Canadian student visa?

I hav an issue about old pasport.i traveld to canada on a visit visa in 97.i succesfuly abided by their laws and returnd in 2months.the name and dob in dat pasport was agha osama khalid 5th feb 1991.now i hav updatd my cnic and passport wit corect name and dob as osama khalid 10th aug 1992.the previous name n dob was wrong in which i traveld.my all other docs hav updated name n dob.i have birthcert also.shud i mention dat i hav visitd canada before or not?its been almost 15yrs will chc hav this record?wat shud i do?

does ur passport not indicate ur previouse passport number??? if it does then the embassy would ask you to show previouse one as well...

IF u have seen application form,it ask about have u used any other name in past,so just mention ur old name there, and dont worry about DOB.just use ur current one. and yes they have every record, o kera pakistani nay ;p

so should i send my old passport as well? dob isn't an issue as u mentioned?? i have all docs like frc,birth cert cnic etc to show correct new updated dob.so i should also write the other previous name used in the form?? pleas guide im worried!!
