hi
every one

last month Mr. Jason Kenney was appointed Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism on October 30, 2008.

now my question is that
he is taking the steps towards new immigiration process are in fovor or against of new applicant.

nothing can b said unless and until the rules are revealed in public

...and I cannot see the reasons for this delay (unless the new Canadian govt: are waiting for fresh orders from next door i.e. Obama)

wat does obama has to to with canadian immigration..?

Sonea, are you trying to have another go at me are you? Well, I dont want to make it an academic forum but go & google NAFTA and it should bring up some interesting references of how the US wants to control every decision Canada and Maxico try to make! ah bless your innocense.

i still dont get it about immigration.... how can a trade agreement effect immigration and labour shortage? plz expain

well, dont think of NAFTA just as an 'agreement'. Although on the outlook NAFTA looks like its about economy (and trade) but theres much more to it than that. And immigration can have a great impact (positive or negative) on how economies perform anyway. Thats why critics say immigration has to be 'controlled'. But its all complicated stuff. Dont let your brain think too hard about it.

Both of you must coolooooooooooool down.

Individual ministers donot run the government policies , but they keep in line with whats best for the National interest. So personalities really donot matter.
