can anyone suggest me is this statement of purpose is correct or should i add or remove some of contents
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Applications development has been my preferred domain since I completed Bachelors from kurukshetra University. I have deep interest in how mobile applications and games are developed, how can It published on stores any many more questions inspired me to gain an insight into mobile applications development. The extraordinary developments in this field, mainly in android and ios devices, especially in the Security applications stimulated my interest and have encouraged me to opt for post-graduation in mobile application and development. After completing my high school, I enrolled myself for the graduate program in bachelors in computer applications. The well-organized syllabus has given me a comprehensive exposure to different programming languages like c, c++, and java and also given a chance to learn different operating system platforms such as Linux and windows. I have developed a keen interest in these subjects and because of my diligence and hard work I was able to score 60% in B.C.A
To gain more knowledge of Linux kernel environment, I joined a red hat (Linux) certification program, from sysinfocom Chandigarh from August 2012 to January 2013. While studying there I gained knowledge of Linux structure, Configure and Maintain Systems etc. I completed my training and got certified in RHCSA and RHCE exams certification id (120-161-492) .To acquire more practical knowledge i worked at sai institute of management and technology B/o Hartron as Linux trainer from 11th February 2013 to 31st August. My work is to taught students about shell scripting, how to Manage Users and Groups, file permissions, encryption, SELinux and more. Majority of MBCT syllabus focuses is on Android which is an operating system based on the Linux kernel so I think my training and work experience helps a lot to understand my future course But to evolve in this competitive IT field and to progress further in my career I have to gain more knowledge in mobile field and brush up my skills. That’s why a Post Graduate in Mobile application and development will not only keep me informed about the technological advances, but also give me an overall understanding of the nitty-gritty in the smartphones industry.
After consulting with my peers and seniors, I’m convinced that Canada is a better option to pursue post-graduation, as it has developed a first-rate education system with higher standards and global recognition. Canadian culture is more diverse and vibrant. It is considered peaceful, safe and orderly country. Being a country of immigrants from all over the World, different perspectives are respected and learning together is encouraged. I have also come to learn that the Lambton College is one of largest, most diversified and highly respected colleges in Canada. Lambton results on the KPI Surveys exceeded the provincial college average especially in student satisfaction in terms of quality of services, programming and resources. The facilities offered by the College will help me gain experience be it social, recreational or my personal development. The program brings together participants from all over the world, so I would be in contact with diverse cultures. It would be very rewarding to share and exchange thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are from different nationalities, cultural orientations and schools of thought on one platform.
Upon completion of this program there will be many possible career options in front of me. I wanted to work as a Application Developer Engineer. I aspire to become one of the best mobile software engineer ever seen by the world in my future and want to flood this world with my innovative ideas which will help my company (wherever I would be working) and my country to grow and develop as much as they can in a true and a fair sense. I would like to work at respectable positions in reputed multinational companies like Samsung, Google, and Apple. But my efforts at all positions would be to take myself and my company to new heights. The first step to all these dreams is IT Professional from a reputed college like Lambton College.
NOTE- I changed my name from Sajan Grover to Samay Grover as per law. CBSE and university where I studied issued me duplicate certificates and degree with a new name after taken court order and proof copies( ie advertisement in national newspaper and in gazette of India) . I applied same to redhat certification but it takes time so I attached my old RHCSA and RHCE certification along with name changing proofs.
I belong to well established family and have enough income to fund my education in Canada. My father and mother both are running business. My family annual income is 18969 CAD $.
I have taken GIC from Scotia Bank of CAD$ 10100 to cover my expenses in Canada. I have already paid first Semester course fee. Therefore I will not found any financial difficulty during my study .
I hope I am able to make my intensions quite clear through this SOP and would be hoping for a positive response.
