If you were either born in Canada or gained your citizenship through immigration, even if you gained it as a child with your parents, you can pass on citizenship to your child. If that is the case, you would have to apply for a citizenship certificate for your child at a Canadian embassy, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/certif.asp and having applied for that, you should be able to get a temporary passport for your baby if you want to return to Canada.
If you were not born in Canada and did not gain your citizenship through immigration, rather through your parents being Canadian and passing it on to you, you can not pass it to your child. In that case, should you want to return to Canada with your baby you need to sponsor it for PR. You can find the application forms here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
