is ur phone unlocked and can it take any SIM card? which country ru from? depending on that u may need an adapter for ur charger.....sockets and voltage in canada are different from countries like pakistan/india.

most of the latest phones work from 110-220v so charging should not be a problem...and also galaxy y is a quad band phone so canadian sim should work in your galaxy y phone.

work fine.,.,.just bring a charge pin converter,..,,.and if u are thinking to bring an Indian SIM card with you for initial use.,Airtel and vodafone are fine., work here in canada on Rogers.,
