Is my Job NOC B or C?

Hi guys,

I am working as a Technical Support Specialist. I'm confused if my job responsibilities fall under NOC B or C category. I know the NOC system is getting converted into TEER but according to NOC, can someone please clarify it? Is it:

6552 - Other customer and information services representatives (NOC C/TEER 4)

or

2282 - User support technicians (NOC B/TEER 2)




Here is the job description:

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Advanced technical troubleshooting with customers calling to resolve concerns related to internet/network connectivity and email
  • Providing high quality customer service within XYZ’s service level and quality guidelines
  • Liaise with internal departments to investigate and escalate technical issues as appropriate including Channel Support and Network Operations
  • Documenting and prioritizing trouble tickets and technical issues on customer accounts
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of technical troubleshooting for XYZ products and staying current on relative technology advancements.


The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
  • Experience in a contact center environment considered an asset
  • Previous remote working experience is an asset
  • Strong customer focus and a willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • A high level of accountability and trustworthiness
  • Well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills

Depends on your duties, I did work as Technical support agent which falls under NOC B, 2282. I'm claiming it for my PR application
I have listed the roles and responsibilities. Thanks for your input.

Can anyone else give some input? Would be highly appreciated :)
