is medical request a good sign for visa??

I got medical request last friday (08-05-2015), and submitted my medicals yesterday (12-05-2015)..

The doctor told me that all the exams went great that my medical examination and everything was perfect... So as he told me there is no chance of rejection based on Medical Examination...

So this means my Visa is gonna be issued right???

It could be, but not 100% though. Most people got their refusal before their medical results were needed while some got their refusal right after their medicals were done but not yet submitted to CEM.

Just hope for the best!

I have another question please, I applied with pre medicals... and last week my Status was updated to 'medical exams passed'.
Does it mean I have a Chance of approval?

It means you passed the stage where medicals are reviewed. The next stage is going to be your documents being reviewed. After that stage comes the final decision if no further documents are needed. Good luck!

In my opinion that's not quite true. Usually, medicals are being reviewed after documents. (not before documents). At least there are several stages, which I noticed in CAIPS. And Medicals was at the end.
But I might be mistaken.

In my opinion that's not quite true. Usually, medicals are being reviewed after documents. (not before documents). At least there are several stages, which I noticed in CAIPS. And Medicals was at the end.
But I might be mistaken.

No one really knows for sure. Recently, there was this applicant who was rejected after his medicals because he failed to submit his police clearance.

My passport was sent since the beginning of my application... Yes I also knew that medicals where final stage and after that came security clearance... After all I did submit police certificate...

I am hoping for the best... And really anxious..

not all countries require security checks. my Country doesnt Need a clearance. I just meant, if your medicals are looked at, it means they are even considering giving you a visa Chance. If it is refused after medicals, maybe its due to another fault or misunderstanding.

If you think you have a good profile and you've met all the requirements, then you have nothing to worry about. Just wait for you visa.

I have been asked for additional docs which is the police certificate the day my eligibility started. But before this, my medical udpated as passed(upfront)
