Is medical/interview the last steps of processing?

I did not give upfront medical but got request from them to do medical. All my documents have already been submitted. But its only been 2 weeks since I applied, I don't understand why they'd ask for medical so soon?

Getting medical call is always a good sign, most people get their visas approved after the medical request. Good Luck and hope for the best.

I was called to undergo medical examinations only after 1 week. So is it a good sign? However I did upfront medical :'(

Why would they request your medical if you already did upfront?

No, unfortunately mine visa was refused without medical call, but some friends of mine got medical calls and then after passing the medical exam their visas were approved. Don't worry, everything will be fine, just get your medical done and wait for passport request.

Medical is definitely not the last step of processing. It might actually be one of the very first steps. But as said above, it is a good sign

Exactly!! That's why I am confused as I did upfront medical so I don't know what to do. I sent them an email lets see what happens. But most likely I'll do medical again I don't want my visa process to delay

When your medical results are passed then after one or two weeks you will get the passport request for visa stamping.

i heard a lot of times that after medicals your application is complete and only then they can pass a judgment. but if they reject students before asking for medical then what i heard is clearly a myth

Oh so then it's a good thing I guess. I think I will undergo medical examinations again as can't do any thing else..
