is medical call is good sign from Pakistan?

I got email on 25 November for medical and i applied my file (paper based) 15 November from Lahore, so is this good sign and i want to know one more thing, is your purpose of visit and funds are being verified after medical or its already verified and they are satisfied and ask me for medical, please need expert advice. Is there anyone who has been refused visa after medical?

Yes I think medical call is a good sign as you are now on next stage. However nothing is sure yet as there are still some students who have been rejected even after being asked to undergo medical examinations. I think Documents are reviewed even after medical call, I am not sure though.
By the way where and for which course did you apply? Also what's your qualification?

Thanks Shani for the reply, well i applied for graduate diploma in professional accounting in MC Gill university and i have done Pgd diploma of Eduqual of Uk as its is equalevent to Bachelors of Canada and i have shown even a business partnership agreement between me and my dad , which is real one and with that have shown my bank statment of like $50,000 and with 6 to 7 properties of my dad which he will sponser me too in future if needed, everything mentioned in papers

So i hope so things go smooth for me

I applied on 20th of October and got medical call after a week. My medical was passed on 10th of november and still waiting till now. I hope I get my visa soon as classes start on 5th of jan 2017.

Inshallah you will get visa, if its still taking time after medical, ,my friend told me that bank statement are other things are verified after medical but before medical they are satisfied with your purpose of visit or SOP, is this right?

I have no idea about this :/
I just think if they do not approve our visa why would they even ask for our medical reports? Unless they are satisfied with everything.

Hello guys.. don't want to upset you guys but some people got rejected after medical passed. However saying that, the number is extremely low. And their application must have some major faults and it caused a rejection. So Insallah brother we will all get through.. Medical request is always a good sign.. most of the people gets rejected within 25days after applying on average.

Well im not from Pakistan so i havent listed myself in that spreadsheet as it says for pakistani students.. however i have noticed that Bangladeshi and Pakistani processing timelines are really similar. So i time to time check that page for updates and analysis.. you can find my timeline on the left just under my profile brother.

And now I am scared!!! :'( :'( :'(
Do you guys have any idea how do they do background checking and how do they check funds. I don't get this :/
Do they call banks and ask them if this person has this much money or not? Why does it take so much time?
Sorry for asking a lot of questions but I am really scared

there is nothing to be scared if all your documents are okay. Don't worry. Hope for the best.
And about the timing, I have no idea but I think they can somehow check it online using the info provided by your bank statements.
