Is LOI important? Should I contact CIC

the document number on ur TRV is for TRV,,, but the doc number on ur LOI is for study permit to when the put the number ur study permit will show up if they enter the one on ur TRV,,, ur TRV will show up two different things...

I checked my study permit and trv from last year. they are different.

@ zm95 : The document number that starts with F is for study permit and the one that starts with E is for TRV.

I think LOI and TRV has the same number.

sorry i was away,,, nope they are not same and they cant be same cause study permit and TRV are two different things for two different purposes hence two different documents with individual numbers,,, so yeah TRV one starts with E and one on the LOI/study permit starts with F... u should ask some more people if anyone went through POE without LOI,,, I dont think so u can

sorry i was away,,, nope they are not same and they cant be same cause study permit and TRV are two different things for two different purposes hence two different documents with individual numbers,,, so yeah TRV one starts with E and one on the LOI/study permit starts with F... u should ask some more people if anyone went through POE without LOI,,, I dont think so u can

1. Your final destination is your UCI#, it will stay same forever in all future permit/TRV/PR application.
2. The number starting with a letter & followed by 9 numbers/letters is your 'application/immigration file number'. For each approval/refusal you will have a new number and it has no significance other than official purpose. Won't allow you to enter/remain in Canada.
