Is it valid to use a multiple entry student visa S1 to visit Canada?

Hey guys,
I have a multiple entry student visa S1 which expires in 2013. However, I decided to drop my studies at Canada and return to my country.
Now I want to visit my boyfriend in Canada for a couple of weeks, but I don't know if i can use my student visa or I should apply for a visitor's visa. Please help!!!! ???
