I am a Mechanical Engineer. With 2+ years experience in Kuwait. Fall under the category 2132.

I am planning to give my IELTS General next month and get my educational credentials assessed before September 2014.

Am I too late to apply for FSWP 2014?

Do I stand a chance in Express Entry 2015?

Your NOC Cap status is 29.

You should be okay applying for FSW 2014. Even if you go for IELTS and WES in the mid of July you should have everything by mid August.

Nobody knows the norms of EOI 2015 so we will have to wait and see.

I'm in Kuwait right now. Inorder to get my educational credentials assessed, I need to send the documents from the University where I studied right?

I can't get the transcripts and marksheets dispatched from the University while I'm in Kuwait!

In fact u can get the documents dispatched while being outside India.
Please ref to website of your university or better call them for details.
I got my transcripts while being in CANADA.

My University only has a online verification portal. I did my graduation in Kerala University.

I don't know if WES would accept documents verified this way. Also, this portal emails the verified material to the institution to be delivered.

I believe I can only do what's given in the below if I personally go to the university and apply for the transcripts and mark sheets. May be I'm wrong!

My father got the Transcripts done in India. I live in the UAE.

Can you ask a parent or a relative to do this on your behalf? They only need an authorization letter (according to my University)

My parents are here with me. Can't have my relatives involved.
My moms willing to go. Can I have done by a friend, of course with an authorization?

Also, in WES Credential Assessment what does Degree Class/Division stand for?

I believe Degree Class/Division - your result (1st divsion/2nd Division/1st Class etc).

If your friend is available - why don't you request him to get to the university and ask what they need. If they can accept the app from him (its India after all) then problem solved.

My occupation 1121 Human resources professionals is not included in 50 eligible occupations. Should I apply for FSW program. Much Worried.

You will get 2 Physical copies of your WES Credentials Evaluation Report out of which 1 has to be sent to CIC.

So I was just checking out the eligibility tool in CIC. I was under the impression that I had more than 67 points in FSWP. The last time I checked I did have that much. Now it says I'm not eligible. I don't where I went wrong after repeating it two times.

As per the point criteria mentioned here: Age(12), Work Ex(11 - Have 2+ yrs), Bachelors Mech Engg (21), IELTS (Yet to take General Test but I've an academic ielts score of 8 so pretty confident about scoring well - 23 if that's the case)

Does this make me eligible? Does having only 67 marks put me at risk?
