Is it taking too long or is it normal?

Hello,
I've submitted my online application on April 20 from Qatar. I have given them the biometrics the next day of submission. It has been exactly 4 weeks so far and in the CIC timetable it says it takes about 5 weeks to get a response about the study permit but so far I did not even get a request about medical exam nor the review of biometric changed as shown below. Does it normally take this long?

Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
Review of biometric information: Not needed at this time

After 5 weeks you may send an email to CHC Abu Dhabi and ask them why there is delay in processing your application.

It is normal in uae to take this much time. Sometimes they even take around 11weeks for processing. Btw average processing time for them is 7-9weeks

Hi Bro, I am also in Qatar,i applied second week of this month,nothing has changed on my and i did upfront medicals. lets just hope for good news
