Is it safe to travel to travel India on Work permit?

My friend has applied for PR under express entry in FEB 2021, his fingerprints has been requested/completed. His father passed away; he needs to travel back to India. Is it safe to travel outside Canada, can he re-enter Canada?.

He needs a valid job offer to re-enter or show that he normally lives in Canada. Eg. Show that he is paying rent and utilities on a home in Canada while he is out of the country.

Yeah, he is paying rent, phone bill in canada.. how about if he arrange job letter before leaving, will they might ask for pay checks as well.?

It has to be a valid job offer from an employer stating he has a job once his quarantine is completed. All on the immigration website. Google “work permit travel Canada.”
