I'm planning to apply in Skilled Worker category from Buffallo. In self assessment test, I'm getting only a total of 67(20+16+21+10+0+0).

Big question is: Is it risky to apply with just minimum score?

Options
(1) Apply now
(2) Learn French for at least 4 months to get basic proficiency. Since I have already got my FBI finger printing done and obtained police certificates, that would mean discard those results as they are valid for only 3 months
(3) Wait to get married to get points for education of wife.
(4) Wait for one year to finish my masters and then apply.
(5) Find a job in Canada.

From above options, which one seems to be best?
Since passing score may change anytime and I'm at threshold, I'm apprehensive about applying now and later on run the risk of waiting for 2 years to know that they have changed the passing score in the end.

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks,

as long as u have the required 67 points, claimed legally, i think u should be ok.
yeah try and get atleast 2 basic points for your french, that will give u 69 points and u ll feel better but u can be sure that if you think u have 67points and satisfy all the criterias, then u are definitely in but do start your application as this application time is increasing daily.
i inquired about australia and new zealand and they say it takes about 6-12months to get the PR.
obviously, canada says these two countries are their main competitors but i wonder how ca be say they have an efficient service when these countries are taking about half the time, or even a quarter of the time needed to process a PR request.
I believe CHC needs to pull their socks and work harder to encourage people.
i am sure something can be done but the ministers keep saying they are doing changes but i believe we are not able to see any.
anyways take care and hope this information helps.
god bless
:)
