Entered Canada June 26,2011. Was able to build our own brand new house, 2 brand new cars, son got high school diploma and currently enrolled in the University for his nursing degree. Got the public health insurance for free plus the private health care benefits (dental, optical, physio, massage) provided by employer. Practically have not spent money for health care from my wallet. Got my CPAP without spending a single penny. Now you guys tell if it is really worth moving to Canada.

P.S. Not meant to brag. Just want to put courage to people who are hesitating.

It is really worth it.

I like living in Vancouver (esp. North Vancouver it is very safe). Nice weather too.

Had a hard time finding a job at the beginning but now I have a good and stable job (and close to home!).

I found my husband here, and we are expecting, due in December ;D Hopefully become a Canadian before my baby arrives ;D
