Is it possible to upload additional documents voluntarily after initial application submission?

Are we allowed to upload additional documents voluntarily (i.e. without being asked by IRCC) after initial submission of citizenship application (online)?

I am waiting for PCC from Indian Consulate in Vancouver which could take 2 months, however, I become eligible to apply for citizenship in 3 weeks. I have managed to get a PCC from my local police station in India, however, the document is not issued on their official letterhead (they have none!), and their stamp is also not in English. Hence, the document may not look very professional from Canadian standards. I am hoping to submit my citizenship application with the current PCC as soon as I become eligible, and then later on upload the new PCC from Indian consulate (just to be safe). Is it is possible to upload voluntary documents later?

Thanks.

Don't upload the one which is not in an official language of Canada, as again they will request you to translate it to English.

what's preventing you from waiting an extra month and submitting a complete application? once you send the application aor may take anywhere from 2-6months+. Until you get aor, it's hard/impossible to upload additional docs and there is chance of your application being rejected as incomplete even before aor. If I were you, I would wait that extra month and apply after getting pcc.

The certificate is in English. Just their stamp is in Hindi and the letter is not printed on their letter head.

I would advise you to wait for the PCC from BLS and then submit full application rather than the local one, since you can only upload extra documents using a webform and you might have heard not all webforms are read/ actioned upon.

You should be getting pcc only from listed sources. Not from other sources. They cant recognize and will cause confusion/returning the application.

Thank you, very good point about (lack of) reliability of web forms. I will wait for PCC from BLS.
