Is it possible to extend the 120 days to submit docs

I am wondering is it possible to ask for more time than given 120 days to submit the document. And if there is an option to extend, please let me know what is the process and how long we get extension.

I have read somewhere online here that they don't give extension but I also doubt that many people have tried to get an extension. Why don't you phone, fax or email your visa office and see what they say.

CIC has been saying that there will be NO extensions of the 120 days and that they will make a decision based on the documents received.
