If you’ve never been to Canada , you might think about visiting , researching the country before attempting to move here
I have never been married in my life. I have not received invitation and request for medical, and I love Canada for its security. More crimes are committed in the United States than in Canada.
I can move to Canada without knowing anything about it. My parents moved from their country to the United States without knowing anything about the United States, and I was born in the United States the year after they arrived.
So research Express Entry and see if eligible to submit a profile. If you are bilingual and have a degree you a good chance. If you are not bilingual, you may get invited if in trades or healthcare.
You don't have to know anything about Canada - but you definitely need to have a deep very understanding of Canada's immigration programs if you want to move here. Start by researching the Express Entry program to determine your chances of being selected for PR. This is a points based program and those with the highest number of points are selected. In theory you can do anything you want .
But you won’t be moving until you get your immigration path.
Don’t research the country then , don’t . But as mentioned you gotta do the wet work on how you’ll get here
If you're a US citizen, you may be eligible for some provisions under the free trade agreement, nafta or whatever stupid name it has now. Generally this is for those with some specialty however.

You also have to look into the cost of living. You may be shocked at the cost of living depending on where you live in the US. You should have a decent amount of savings to be able to relocate to Canada. You must also consider access to healthcare if you move. Finding a psychiatrist or access mental healthcare can be extremely difficult and so can finding a GP. Canada also doesn’t have a national pharmacare program so you will need to research access to healthcare and medication and associated costs.
