Is it okey to e-mail manila office to follow up?

Hi! I just wanna ask if it is okey to follow up application in Manila Visa Office?....It's already 3 months that had passed after we received a letter from CIC stated that my husband already met the requirements to sponsor and that our application was forwarded to Manila for further processing. Thank you!

What do you mean by "follow up application"? Asking then what they are currently doing with it? I don't think they will answer. And it's possible they have done nothing with it yet. Manila has an average time of processing of 14 months.

3 months ago what you received was decision made to sponsor .. that was stage 1 of the process .. the stage 2 .. takes up to 8 months at least for now .. i submitted my applicantion in january .. i got the sponsorship approval in january as well .. and today my wife takes her passport from canada embassy manila with visa and copr .. its like 9 months and a week of processing for me ..

it is okay to do a follow up .. but it is better to wait till they ask for the applicants passport .. since if they havent asked for the passport basically it only means that your package is at their office sitting and unopened

Can I join here?. In my case I emailed CEM 2 days ago informing them that my sponsor had already paid the RPRF then, I sent/attached the scanned RPRF receipt..Was it ok even our apps just been 3 months now. TY.

As far as I know, the payment of RPRF needs to be notified to Mississauga, not to the VO. Mississauga is the one that notifies the VO. Even if you notify the VO also, they will wait for the official notification from Mississauga, and that will take a few weeks.
