Urgent help needed please!!
Hey guys, I have a question regarding landing process, Im here on a work permit which is expiring in few days I have got my COPR papers and immigrant visa on the passport. Just because of some situations I am not landing yet, do you know if i will have any problems if I land after my work permit expires? I would really appreciate some help.

I think you should have at least a valid status in Canada to avoid any problems, generally people change their status to visitor at least to avoid be out of status. But you will also see others saying that being out of status when validating your COPR is not harmful at all, I personally disagree with this last option. Certainly one of the strategies used for many people is to apply for BOWP, with this you can extend your stay as a worker without any issues. I am not sure if you can apply for this at this point as you already received your COPR, but if you are only delaying your landing for a few weeks, applying for a BOWP would be costly and useless.

I won't be able to apply BOWP you are right, just delaying my landing for only few weeks because of some personal circumstances.Thank you so much for replying, means a lot.
