i sent the document on feb 07 , 2014 and im thinking of going to korea for 1 month and taiwan for about a week. will it be fine to go to other countries?

the other question is that i sent the document with no notice of assessment. does anybody know if its ok without it or not?

plz leave a comment. thx!!!

You can travel to any country for any length of time. There is no restriction.

NOA is a required document. I am assuming you haven't send it because you don't have one yet? You should have attached an explanation letter with your application citing the reason why you are not attaching a NOA. I would recommend you share it with CIC as soon as you receive one for tax year 2013.

can i send them through mail anytime? or should i send it after i get a file number?

No need to send by mail, you can email them as well.

Do you already have the NOA? I am asking this because you have sent the app only 2 days back. If you forgot to add the NOA, I would recommend sending the NOA right away in an email explaining your situation. Add as much info as possible so that Sydney can identify your application even without the file number (Client ID, Name, DoB, Passport #, etc). Search the forum for how to contact Sydney office and what info should be sent when contacting them without the file number.
 
You can travel to any country for any lenght of time. If you intend to stay longer there it is advisable to inform CIC.

thank you for your help. i havent got my noa yet. i will file my tax tmrw. they said it would take about 2 to 3 weeks to get a noa.
