Is it ok to move now?

Hello everybody,

I'm Chan from Thailand. I am living in Montreal waiting for the first stage approval. My timeline is as follows,

1 Jun 2011 application received

10 Jun 2011 start process

27 Oct 2011 received letter from CIC telling me to apply for Quebec Selection Certificate

14 Nov 2011 recieved Quebec Selection Certificate

Now I'm stil waiting for the first stage approval but my spouse got the offer from a nursing college in Toronto, Ontario. The school will start at September.

My question is I doubt if I can move to Toronto in August with my spouse. I'm scared that If i notify CIC of my address changed to Ontario during the process, they might turn down my application.

I really have no clue when my case will complete and if it's ok to move to Toronto during the process.

Your advice will be appreciated

that's hard to advise on bro... it's a bit complicated. Can you call the immigration office and ask what can they say about your situation? i think they are open for advices. If they can't, then you have to decide whether to just cancel your application or continue. Anyway, you are lucky that your wife will be coming soon on august, i think its good to move at Toronto and be with her. And after that, you both can plan and continue on your application for her.
