Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I used NOC 2174 (Computer Programmer) for a previous job in the EE application. However, I want to change it to 2173 (Software Engineer) in my PR application because it is a better match. Note that my current job and main NOC is 0213 (Computer and Information Systems Manager).

I also want to make a few more corrections, such as changing the end date of my wife's Bachelor's degree to match her graduation date rather than the end of her last courses.

I would also like to remove my wife's jobs from her Work History and only include them in her Personal History. I've read that this is OK given that none of that experience was in Canada, so we didn't get points for it anyway. An advantage of doing this is that we wouldn't need to obtain reference letters for her.

My understanding is that all of these changes are OK, since they wouldn't alter our CRS points.

Is that correct? I want to be sure because I fear that any small mistake could jeopardize our application :o

Thanks!

You are correct. Just mention all these changes in your LOE

Is it okay to make corrections to the NOC code post ITA ?

What impact it may have on the application

Yes. as long as the NOC is 0 or A or B. you will need to write the change in your LOE as well along with the reason for change (eg: I have changed the NOC for this job to this NOC as it closely matches with my current roles & responsibilities)
