IS IT NECESSARY TO PAY TUITION FEES BEFORE VISA ?

Hello guys,

I have two questions:

1) I want to ask that is it necessary to pay Tuition fees before applying visa apart from GIC....OR GIC plus education loan is enough in order to satisfy visa officer...?

2)Do i need to show education loan or funds for 2 year tuition fees apart from gic.....or education loan for 1 year/1term fees +gic is enough...?

1) Yes it is necessary to pay tuition fees before filing visa
2) Education loan for 1 year +gic is ok plus you need to show that you or your parents can fund your education !!

As you have said that i have to show that my parents can fund my education ....so can i show my parents property assets or only savings will work in this case.....?

Yes you can show your parents total net worth
It depends on your need and your bank's consideration in this regard

bro in my opinion

Pay entire 1st Year college fees and get the receipt (even 1 semester fees is acceptable but paying entire year fees makes your file a bit more stronger)
GIC certificate of $10100

You may show other funds , property papers , Education loan etc depending on which stream you apply (SPP / GENERAL / UNIVERSITY) ....... I would recommend to simply follow the relevant stream's CHECKLIST and you are good to go. Do your own individual research too and ..... All the best.

In order to pay the complete sem fee or a years tuition fee and if you going to take a bank loan the bank will only give you sanctioned letter and only pay the university once youget your visa
Please suggest what should be done in this case

Paying fee is not a must and is optional but it just makes your case strong.No harm if you don't do so. So you can pay after getting visa.

1) no it is not necessary to pay fees ..paying fees will just make ur case strong. I did not pay fees but showed liquid funds in bank which were worth 1 year tution fees + 1 year living expenses + travel expense.
2) if u take GIC its ur living expense , u either have to show one year funds for fees or pay the fees

As u said one can satisfy visa officer that one can manage 1 year fees ,gic(living expense) and travel expense but for 2nd year,does we have to show anything?

you don't need to show anything for second year if you don't have. Yes you can show loan and GIC instead of liquid fund.

if ur applying for university catgory then yes just 1 year funds to show. like I said u need 1 year tution fee+ 1 year living expenses + travel exp nothing more these are mim requirements if u want to show more its not going to hurt and will help ur case. yes u can show education loan and GIC. have u checked the check list i think it tells u what u need.

I have got conditional admission offer for Programme Meng in ECE under computer and system engineering department for Fall intake from Carleton University.

The condition that is mentioned is :Admission conditional upon receipt of official transcript indicating degree(s) conferred with required standing:B.Tech Degree From Punjab Technical University.

So , i have inquired from university officials and they have said that i can pay my fees and register for courses even before 1st day of my class there.

Now my question is:
Can i apply with the conditional offer only for visa.....?As university people are saying that one can apply for visa with conditional offer also......

yes you can get visa with conditional letter and I have got so. My letter also says to give original transcript upon arrival.
