You can get up to 20 points for your spouse's language proficiency.

If your partner is accompanying you than you will loose some points in CRS and to cover points your partner IELTS hold value. It is not mandatory though. Also you will get upto 5 points in FSW. You need 67 points if you are applying under FSW.
