Is it mandatory to book return tickets for parents visiting on super visa?

I read some airlines policies which mentions having return ticket on hand otherwise they will deny boarding the flight. Can anyone share insights as per your experience? Thanks

not mandatory at all. My in law had travelled with super visa and one way ticket without any issue
