IS IT GOOD TO SEND UNWANTED DOCUMENTS?

Hi,

I am completing my permanent resident application and I am sending more documents than wanted. Is it good and helpful or the officer will get overwhelmed?
For example, sending photos more than 20, sending schedule A form printed with application or sending police certificate at the beginning.

I think this way I will help the process to be faster but I doubt about what CIC thinks.

Thank you

Do not send more than what is required.

Do not send the Schedule A yet, even if you do, CIC will still ask you to upload the form.

it wont

at best, you'll slightly piss of your VO because they will have more work to go through in your app

at worst, your application will be returned because you didnt follow directions

That is exactly what happens when people send more information than needed. Officers are just like you and I and too much information will overwhelm them specially when some of it it's not needed.

What about the police certificate? I got it from my country and if I do not send it now I will have to post it to them again.
I sent my police certificate from my home country together with my application because i didn't want it to be expired while i had it. Because it is hard to get it again.
They had no issues.

if you have time sensitive documents such as the PCC or upfront medicals, it should be no problem to include them in the application package. although you may still need to the send them again when CIC requests them

for the other documents, just stick to the checklist when in doubt
