Is it good time to apply visa for 2019 Sep semester?

My school will start Sep, 2019
Is is reasonable to apply my visa now?
Will the visa officer think it is tooo early for the visa and doubt my purpose of visiting canada?

It says Apply as soon as you receive your letter of acceptance

Acceptance letters generally aren't issued so far in advance.

Ideally you apply 3-4 months before classes start; less than that and there's no way of proving you will have the same amount of money when you come to Canada.
