Hi guys,

I got my ITA in 22nd August draw. While proceeding with the ITA, I noticed that my work experience is wrongly entered in Express Entry profile.
Example :
Work exp 1 - may-2013 to may-2016
Work exp 2 - may-2016 to dec-2017

But it is wrongly mentioned as below
Work exp 1 - may-2013 to may-2015
Work exp 2 - may-2015 to dec-2017

I have mentioned work exp 1 as my primary experience.

In this scenario, whether should I decline my ITA and update the information correctly and re-enter the pool or shall I proceed with ITA submission and add a LOE explaining the mistake ?

Kindly help.

Regards,
Thiru

If you are still meeting the eligibility criteria and the CRS score is still above the cut-off after these changes, you can change it.

Whichever is your primary NOC, it should be at least 12 months continuous.

Thanks Preetsingh...i have 3 years continuous experience...however when creating the profile wrongly mentioned as 2 years and added 1 year to my 2nd company experience...this is not affecting my overall CRS score. So it shouldn't be a problem going by the feedback I received from other members in the forum.

Yes, this won't be a problem

Hi! I also received my ITA on 22nd Aug. I mentioned two jobs in work history. Main work is #1 which is more than 5yr. My question is if I now remove the second irrelevant work exp to reduce documentation, would it be ok?

if doesn't affect your eligiblity and score, yes, you can jsut put it in personal history

Hi guys.

can someone help me clarify the job experience and NOC part as i am planning to change my job.

1) so you can have multiple NOC types and numbers in your profile but the first one should be at least one year?
Example: job #1, type B, 2 years
Job #2, type A, 1 year
Claiming three years of experience?
What happens if you move to job from category B to C. I guess the work experience wont be considered, right?

2) Can someone change their job to a one that has different NOC type after receiving ITA and gets the PR?

For example: from a job that is type B to a job that is type A? Would that revoke your PR?

1. Yes, you've understood correctly.
Do you mean you want to change the details in your profile or change jobs in real life?

2. Again, do you mean you want to change the details given in your profile or just change jobs.

Yes. I do want to change my job in real life.

Thats fine, you can change jobs if you wish, it won't affect your PR application.

Hi all,
I have 3 years of continuous work experience in my previous job and 5 months in my current job. Since CIC asks to fill details of current and every other previous job while creating the express entry profile, I filled up details for entire 3.5 years of experience (3 years for previous + 5 months current), I received my ITA on April 3, 2019, now I don't want to reveal my plans to my current company and hence cannot ask for detailed employment letter, although I do have my appointment letter (with title and annual salary) and pay slips, but I don't have job responsibilities and number of working hours. So, can I delete my current job from work history and mention it under personal history? or would that lead to rejection?
I am worried. Please guide.
