IS IT A STICKER IN PASSPORT OR IS IT SOMETHING STAPLED IN WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN CAN

HELLO ALL - wondering if someone knew the answer to this.

I have applied for the temporary working holiday visa and am now waiting for it to be processed. Just curious - will I send my passport away for a visa sticker to be put into it or do I travel with my passport as normal and my documents and they give me something when I arrive in Canada?
