Dear All,
Is it a good idea to call Sydney Nova Scotia to inquire about the status of my application. CIC received my application on 05 June 2014. When I called my bank in the first week of July, they mentioned that CIC has en cashed the bank draft/cheque. Since I had made the cheque in the second week of May 2014.
I also came to know that they have contacted my relative in Canada 2 week before to verify my relationship.
In total now 8 weeks are passed since CIC have received my application and I haven't heard anything from them while checking my inbox frequently.
One thing that worry me, Is that my direct manager has resigned and now his email may not be working . His email and phone was written on one of the detailed experience letter. since HR did not know about my technical roles and responsibilities , hence he had signed one letter. But still on the salary letter the HR contact details are given, I wish they contact HR for all types of verification.
Am I out of the game? or what? Not sure what is happening ?
Shall I call CIC and inform them that my director manager has resigned? If so ,I do not know my UCI number?
Is it good idea to call CIC or it may adversely effect my case?
Can I get my UCI number over the phone?
Many Thanks in advance and would highly appreciate an advise from an expert.
