Is this a family sponsorship or a spousal sponsorship?

Being asked for the medical is another step to confirm that you are not inadmissible, so it is impossible to say at this time if you will have an interview or not. If the medicals are unremarkable, and so is the background of the principal applicant and ALL his dependents (accompanying or not) then the interview will likely be waived in future. At this time it is hard to say yes or no.

thanks for that.

also, i applied in manila, philippines. but not i am currently in UAE and will be unable to have my medicals in Manila. is it possible to have my medicals done here in UAE? if so, what steps must i do so that i may have my medical here before the 60days period given.

also, will this have bearing on my application? will it prolong, or even affect my visa application being granted?

thanks in advance. i am very much worried right now.

Check the list of Designated Medical Practitioners for UAE, you may have your examination done at any DMP on the list, you don't need to be in Manila. Make sure you use the form sent to you by the embassy and that you provide the DMP with the correct information on where to send the form.

You will need to provide updated information to Manila, if they are not aware that you are in UAE. Furthermore, you may be required to provide a police certificate from UAE. Manila will advise you what they need from you and when to send it, so far as your current domicile is concerned. It may cause some delay, yes. It depends on how easy it is for you to get paperwork done there.

Yes, the address should be included with the instructions, or check the website to ensure you have the correct address if it isn't.

i have checked the DMEs here in UAE and am hopping to get it done there. do you think a police clearance is required? i have been here for only a month today. should i already advise the embassy of a change in address? but my current address in my home country in the philippines is still okay, i will still come home there, just not now.

I have already email Manila asking them to grant my medical here in uae. should i wait for their response before doing my medical here?

i have no dependents btw, and its only me whose going to have the medicals.

do you forsee any problems i may face in the future if i have my medicals here and stay and work here in uae?

No, a PCC is required when you have resided somewhere 6 months or more.

And, yes, you are required to advise the embassy of significant events such as an address change, especially if you are the principal applicant.

It should be perfectly fine to proceed with your medical, especially as you only have a limited amount of time to submit it.

I cannot foresee anything. I can only tell you that you need to advise Manila of your change of address, you may be asked to provide a police certificate if you are there for 6 months and there may be additional documents required because you are living in the Gulf region.

It's better to inform the embassy now. And they might inform you too what other documents you need to submit. And be ready for a PCC if you reach the 6 month mark of living in UAE.

Send it now. You are supposed to update them if your address changes. Don't wait until you are sure you are going to be there for 6 months. Even if you are there for a couple of months, they still need to know because that is a significant period in your background history.
