my advice, pls go with the new FBI system . go the their website it must be better

I got my fingerprints in Mumbai Police Fingerprint Section at Fort on 29-Aug-2017, and sent to FBI via courier. Made a mistake for them to send the PCC back to my home address somewhere in central India . Application received at FBI Office on 07 Sep 2017 and application was processed on 13-Dec-2017 (Credit Card charged on 13-DEC-2017) Credit card is American Express Blue from USA.

PCC dispatched from FBI on 15-dec-2017 but finally received in India on 18 Jan 2017, in very bad shape. Envelope is of Yellow color and when I received the envelope it was all crushed in a ball shape after being wet. Had to iron it before even attempting to take out the PCC letter otherwise would have torn it. The letter almost got holed from abuse. The yellow of the envelope was transferred to the letter. I had to iron it and keep it under two heavy glass panes for 3 days. Finally had to request FBI to send a second copy but this time to a trusted friend in USA. The USA copy was receieved on the day 4 of the the second request.

My advise is that if you have a trusted friend in USA, Please positively ask FBI to send the letter there. It does not matter which address you listed as original address. you can send a second email to them and they are helpful in changing the destination address. Its faster and much safer

Thanks for your advice , I am actively waiting for the new eDO system. I have send fingerprints before but will take 2 months more, if electronic system can go live, I will send another request , time is more important than few bucks.

The new system was supposed to be up, but is not. Dont waste time. get an address update form and fill it, SIGN IT, , scan it and send to Identity (AT) fbi (DOT) gov. atleast you would save one month mailing time to India. also will save on any potential damage to the letter.

rest as you wish. good luck

Just for future references:

I got my fingerprints taken by them and they were of good quality. I haven't received FBI response on that set yet.

With the launch of eDO based system, I went again and got the fingerprints taken again. I would say fingerprints in 1st attempt were a little better w.r.t one of the finger but these were also overall good, my 2nd fingerprint set were accepted and FBI PCC has been issued.

I would recommend them, staff is very professional. They are also affordable than TruthLabs and JK Consultancy.
