Well the profile you have mentioned is fine for applying. But there are many other issues like financials, country tie, intentions and proper documentations.

Well generally VO always looks at the overall sustainability of the sponsor. He will look at his current amount of money and properties and from the incomes, will judge whether he will be able to sustain "his family" along with "your studies". This is where many people goes wrong. They just concentrate on "your studies", forget about "his family", shows the amount of money which is enough to complete the studies and BOOM! get rejected. That is why, you should always show as much as possible (they want to see how much your sponsor got, not how much he is willing to give) along with sources of income to poof the sustainability in the upcoming years.

Should be. For undergrad, you need to show a year worth of expense + settling fee + ticket fare along with proof of sustainability that in the upcoming years, you will be financially sound.
