is immigration processing currently slow at New Delhi Visa Office?

Hello everyone,
I have applied for PR under FSWC in 2013. My application was received on 22 may 2013. Recently I got status update in ECAS that they havHellorted processing my application on 27 Feb 2014. But till now I haven't received any update on medical. It has been around 2 months now but still no update.
Some of my friends got visas in Feb who applied with me in May last year.
Is there something with slow processing these days. They were saying that 2013 fswc applications will be processed on fast track but I can't see any fast processing here for my application.
Any information or suggestions are welcomes here.

Okay but can it impact the case negatively? There could be a chance they can doubt why we are enquiring so eagerly?

Please suggest. I got the ecas status update on Feb end and bow its May .
