Hi Friends,

I got AOR on Set 15 and I believe I am close to my PPR. I got married on Jan7th and now CIC has asked certain details of my spouse. They have mentioned PCC and Medical Test, but have not asked IELTS and ECA for my wife. Do you guys think CIC will ask for IELTS and ECA from my wife? She doesn't have these 2 now and would definitely need more time to get these if CIC asks the same.

Please kindly share your thoughts.

Thanks
Rob

No, just medicals and PCC. Additoinal PoF will be required.

Do you know when additional POF will be required? During landing?

Yes, during landing if they ask. I hope you have informed CIC about your marital status change. Please submit additional POFs, upfront medical for your spouse and PCC when you raise a CSE to update your marital status.

I informed CIC about my status change only last week (Feb01), while my marriage was on Jan7th. CIC has replied to submit certain details along with PCC and Medical results in 7 days,which is quite shocking. But they haven't mention anything about POF now.

Unless you have an LMIA job or are invited under CEC, don't wait for CIC to ask about additional POF. That's entirely your responsibility. Submit the proof for additional POF right away.

I understand. I asked my lawyer and I am attaching the latest account statement (with extra fund) of the same bank where I got the PoF letter earlier. Thank you Asivad!

@89robinm - Two questions-

1) How did you update CIC about your change in marital status?
2) If its via CSE, did you attach any evidence during sending this message? How long take to did get back to you with the requirements for spouse?

Please let me know.
